Description
This is a foundation course open to Health and Movement Professionals who are looking to bring their practice to the water in therapeutic aquatic sessions. This is the first course in this series of which is required before taking the pediatric and dynamic spine courses. Those attending must have anatomy-physiology training, as well as some manual experience in their field. If you do not have a professional bodywork training background you can consider the AquaVie Training which is open to the public. The curriculum includes: - Fulcrums in the aquatic environment - Biomechanics of the Craniosacral System - Physiological considerations of treatment in warm water - Treatment methodology - Therapeutic tools in manual aquatic bodywork - Biomechanical, visceral and myofasical techniques - Most of this course teaches techniques above the water with flotation devices - Introduction to techniques under the water in submersion and states of apnea to enter ever-deepening awareness of Primary Respiration Teachers: Marie Panier, D.O., Michel Dufresne, D.O. and Jennie Anstey, D.O. Preference for payment is via e-transfer to jennieanstey@gmail.com of $795 plus tx=$914.05. If that is not possible you can pay online when you register. If you have already attended this course and are interested in teaching this work contact us. Those we approve on the teacher-path work with us at this course three times. The first two times you take the course is paid and the third time you attend without cost as an assistant teacher so we can help and prepare you for quality instruction.
Cancellation Policy
There is a 48 h cancellation policy for trainings. If you cancel 48h before the start time you may receive a full refund. After this time you may transfer your spot to someone else.
